I rather expected a little higher quality from IDW Publishing. Paper is fairly light weight and images are all straight out of their "All Hail Megatron" arc. Which is amazing, but I would have hoped for maybe some new art, or a little more variety. Also, image quality is a little grainy in some spots. Kinda comes off as a well-done bootleg, to be honest.That said, IDW's artwork never ceases to impress, and the images are well-selected and cropped. Color fidelity is excellent.
Overall conclusion: as a monster Transformers fan, I love it. Had I held it in my hands and observed it more closely before purchase, I might not have spent so much on it, though. Will probably wait on a 'deal' on next year's calendar.

I'm a big TRANSFORMERS fan and I bought this for a friend who is yes, also a fan. It features artwork of the G1 series (Generation One aka the original 80s Transformers) in full color, on glossy paper. You got Optimus Prime, Megatron, Soundwave, the Constructicons... you know who I'm talking 'bout. It's all good stuff.
If you're looking for pictures of the movie versions of the TRANSFORMERS, this is NOT the calendar for you. Otherwise, G1 fans will be quite satisfied.
It has nice comic book styled artwork of various characters from the Transformers G1 animated series and the comics. One of the coolest posters I've bought.
Great drawings and color! Excellent representation of G1 Transformers. Please continue to make them each year, and I will continue to buy!
Great pictures of different Gen 1 Transformers, and all the dates of the calendar appear correct! My husband was very happy with his new calendar. -)
I usually don't get attached to my calenders, I don't even like them all that much. It's often stuck with a calender that was randomly given to me without a second thought. The pictures are large, making it easy to admire from a distance. The quality is excellent and the choice of pictures are great, especially with the variety of characters shown. There is plenty of space for each day to write what is needed which isn't something that I usually get. Personally, I hope that there will be a Transformers Calender for 2014 so that when this one has achieved its purpose, I'll be able to replace it with another awesome calender.
